Prosecco Di Valdobbiadenne, Bortolomiol Banda Rossa – very important to stress the premier ‘Valdobbiadenne’ region as this where the good Prosecco comes from. There are a number of other ‘Proseccos’ out there from areas such as Treviso which aren’t as good, although the Italian authorities are changing the Prosecco DOC regulations to protect the excellent reputation that this wine has created for itself. Also important to point out that this is the ‘Banda Rossa’ – the best Prosecco they make.

What’s it like?

Wonderful, fantastic…… Full fruit flavours, persistent mousse without being too gassy, supremely balanced with an off dry finish. It’s a delicious sparkling wine.
