This is one of the most fashionable and desirable Champagnes around. Pale pink in colour with lovely strawberry flavours and a really dry, crisp finish. The flavours are enhanced by a very fine mousse and finely balanced acidty. It’s ideal as an aperitif or for any celebration. It’s not cheap though. Champagne in general has rocketed in price in the UK due in part to the exchange rate, and this one is costing £15 more per bottle this year over last year’s price. It’s widely available in any good wine merchants. Expect to pay upwards of £50 per bottle. However it can still be found as great value in some hotels or restaurants who don’t sell much of it and have last year’s stock at last year’s prices!
