Bollinger are a quality Champagne house. This, their special cuvee, is aimed to compete against Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. It’s a little more expensive but then it’s also a considerably better Champagne. It has a bit more credibility and cudos, so the image conscious amongst us, as well as the more discerning, will opt for this in preference to Moet or Veuve. Widely available, expect to pay between £30 and £35, but the best deal at present is Hennings Wine Merchants who have it on offer at £28.99
