Eikendal is a stunning winery set in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Stellenbosch due East of Cape Town. They pride themselves on making some excellent wines.

What’s it like?

Pale gold in colour with a rich, buttery nose. It’s very rich and full on the palate with a good level of acidity to cleanse the palate, making it well suited to food. If you’re sensitive to sulphites it may be best to avoid this one though as levels are noticeable.

Again it’s not widely available in the UK, but it is stocked at Corks Out for a hefty £14.95 per bottle.
