Alan McCorkindale Chardonnay 2004
Alan McCorkindale, like John Forrest, seems to be popping up here and there making wines for other people as well as his own.
What’s it like?
Disappointing. Marlborough Chardonnay tends to be over rated with many producers charging too much. Hawke’s Bay is actually physically better suited to producing Chardonnay and New Zealand’s best come from there. It’s not great wine, and certainly isn’t value for money.
How much? Where can I buy it?
www.goodwineonline.co.uk have some Alan McCorkindale Chardonnay 2004 available at £9.28 to clear.
