John Forrest is prominent in Marlborough where he keeps popping up making wines for various vineyard owners. This is his own wine from his own vineyard, which helped him first get established, and he’s now released more varietals under his own name.

What’s it like?

It’s a decent Pinot Noir and good value for the price. Good fruit and balance with sufficient acidity to cleanse the palate making it well suited to enjoy with food. the 2004 is still drinking well.
