SO-LO S02 is a new wine brand, producing quality wines with ultra low sulphur content. They’ve partnered up with some top quality wineries in various countries to make great tasting wines as naturally as possible with absolute minimal additives. This Navitas is their first offering and has only just been released in the UK.

What’s it like?

Well firstly it’s made for SO-LO S02 by Domaine Viret in the Rhone valley, under their unique and patented Cosmoculture © system which is a blend of principles incorporating organic, biodynamic, plant biology and the earth’s natural energy. It’s a blend of 5 different grapes predominantly Merlot, Mouverdre and Cabernet producing a full flavoured wine, fruit driven but with plenty of backbone and structure. Medium bodied with great balance between fruit, tannin, alcohol and acidity. Everything about it makes you feel healthy while drinking it!

It’s below the minimum EU (and USA) requirements on sulphur content of 10 mg/litre Total and 5 mg/litre Free sulphur so is legally classed as ‘sulphite free’ and doesn’t need to state ‘contains sulphites’ on the label.
