Cormi Zenato 2006
This is a new wine from Zenato, just released in the UK.
What’s it like?
It’s a blend of Merlot and Corvina – a little known grape in it’s own right, which along with Rondinella forms the backbone of Amarone and Ripassa wines. It’s supremely smooth, packed with Merlot fruit. It’s well balanced, the secret of all Zenato’s blended wines, with good length and just the right acidity to cleanse the palate. This wine’s clearly been designed to be consumed with food, and due to it’s medium body, is suited to anything from chicken dishes right through to red meats. It’s a good wine, lighter in style than their Ripassa.
How much? Where can I buy it?
The only place we know of so far who has any Cormi Zenato 2006 abailable is www.goodwineonline.co.uk at £14.95
