Gerardo Cesari is one of Italy’s best producers, based in the Veneto region where he makes some superb wines. He was voted ‘Italian Winemaker of the Year’ for 2004 and again for 2006! He makes two Ripassas, this Bosan – the premium wine, and Mara. They’re both fantastic.

What’s it like?

A delicious, powerful fruit driven wine, very smooth, ideal with food. It won a Gold Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2006.
