One of THE premier wines in Italy. An incredible reserve wine made in very limited quantities. Sadly Sergio passed away last year and there’ll be no more of his personal Riserva ever made.

What’s it like?

It’s a huge big, warm and rounded wine, supremely smooth with intense lingering flavours. You really need to have it with food as it’s so big it’s too much on it’s own. Very rare. If you’re ever lucky enough to try a bottle please post your comments on this site.

How much? Where can I buy it?

You may find the odd bottle in a good independent shop but it won’t be cheap! However, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Sergio Zenato Riserva 2001 is still available from the wonderful www.goodwineonline.co.uk for £66.70 per bottle. God bless them!
