Fish Eye Chardonnay

Published by admin

fish20eye20chardonnay_jpgFrom the Fish Eye Winery in California. This is a fairly entry level wine produced on a large scale, designed  to be cheap and cheerful.

What’s it like?

It’s full bodied with noticeable fruit and well balanced acidity. Unfortunately it’s down hill from here as the fruit’s followed by an aftertaste I can only describe as ’burnt rubber’. The aftertaste is also rather ‘chemically’ so anyone with a sulphite intolerance should definitely give this a miss.

How much? Where can I buy it?

It’s available from a few retailers including KWM Wines & Spirits at £6.49
