What’s it like?

This wine shows typical dry reisling characteristics – an oily or petrol like nose, which is likely to put off none reisling fans immediately. But, like an Alsace equivalent, on tasting the wine is completely different to expectations. Good strong fruit flavours with full body and good length. There’s a slight bitter aftertaste and the wine has a noticeable sulphite content – nothing like a cheap branded wine, but certainly enough to create a reaction in someone with a sulphite allergy. Dry reisling is something of a ‘marmite’ wine – people tend to either love it or hate it, very few are indifferent to it. Personally it’s not for me, but it is a pretty good example of this style of wine.

How much? Where can I buy it?
