Campbells is a family owned winery dating back as far as 1870 which is old by Aussie standards. It was started by Scotsman, John Campbell who named his first vineyard Bobbie Burns. It’s now in the hands of the fifth generation of the family making some decent wines.

Plenty of fruit and soft in the mouth. Very smooth with decent length. It’s a nice bottle of wine. Campbells Bobbie Burns Shiraz 2005 Rutherglen is available from www.goodwineonline.co.uk for £10.35 or the 2006 is available from Berry Brothers & Rudd for a hefty £14.60
