Susana is one of Argentina’s premier and best known winemakers. She spends September each year working in the industry in a different country furthering her knowledge. Her wines are very good.

What’s it like?

This is Susana’s signature wine, as she says herself on the label, this is the very best wine she can produce. It’s a classic Bordeaux blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon with 15 % Malbec and small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, all grown at altitude, then aged in French oak. It’s a sumptuous wine with intense fruit flavours with vanilla and a little pepper. Big with strong, well balanced alcohol, very smooth with great length. This wine’s a cracker, highly recommended. I had two bottles at Christmas with the turkey.
