El Porvenir de los Andes is a remarkable family owned winery situated in the Salta district of North West Argentina at altitude. Due to the unique messoclimate of their vineyards, the region’s 320 days a year of sunshine  and the dedication of  the family to producing only top quality wine, they make some truly stunning wines in limited quantities. Every single one of their wines is excellent, and their Laborum range are simply magnificent.

What’s it like?

Pretty special to be honest. Limited production of only 10500 bottles per year. Torrontes flourishes in Argentina and this is a cracking example. Highly floral aromas with concentrated tropical fruit on the palate, similar to a good Sauvignon Blanc but with a much lower acidity level making this a delicious wine to enjoy without food. Highly recommended.
