El Porvenir de los Andes is a remarkable family owned winery situated in the Salta district of North West Argentina at altitude. Due to the unique messoclimate of their vineyards, the region’s 320 days a year of sunshine  and the dedication of  the family to producing only top quality wine, they make some truly stunning wines in limited quantities. Every single one of their wines is excellent, and their Laborum range are simply magnificent.

What’s it like?

Just over 10 000 bottles made. Huge damson and blackberry fruit with vanilla overtones. Rich and smooth in a fruit driven style, not pepper as is often associated with Syrah. Beautifully balanced as all El Porvenir’s wines tend to be. Superb.
