El Porvenir de los Andes is a remarkable family owned winery situated in the Salta district of North West Argentina at altitude. Due to the unique messoclimate of their vineyards, the region’s 320 days a year of sunshine  and the dedication of  the family to producing only top quality wine, they make some truly stunning wines in limited quantities. Every single one of their wines is excellent, and their Laborum range are simply magnificent.

What’s it like?

This ‘red’ blend consists of 60% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah. It’s a powerful wine which, when left to breathe for 10 minutes or so, softens into a delicious, smooth, well structured wine with good length and a dry finish.
