Italian Red Wines

amarone_la_bastia_tinazziItaly has a passion for quality food and wine and this is proven with their production of some of the best wines in the world, including their Italian Red Wines. Piedmont is possibly Italy’s most prestrigious wine wine region and is famous for two big and powerful reds, Barolo and Barbaresco.

Both of these reds are made from the same grape, Nebbiolo. Barolo is traditionally bigger and heavier out of the two, due to spending considerably longer in oak. However, both of these wines can be just as fantastic as one another if from the right producer.

If you prefer softer wines, you can opt for Barbera D’Alba and Dolcetto D’Alba, as well as Langhe Rosso.
