This “Fiano” is a unique wine, apparently the only Fiano grapes planted in Argentina which Susana had intended to use for blending. However once she had completed fermentation and tasted the wine it was so good she decided to release it as a single varietal.
What’s it like?
In Italy Fiano makes elegant crisp whites which can develop body and complexity with bottle age. Here Susana seems to have achieved all this in one go! The wine is rich and full yet light and crisp with bags of fruit flavour. It’s very Italian in style. I highly recommend you try a bottle.
