Argentinian White Wines

As the fifth largest producer of wine in the world, Argentina provides consumers with quality wine since their turnaround during an economic crisis. Since this and the spiralling inflation, their domestic consumption has reduced dramatically. In addition, the same period had investors from Europe and the USA investing heavily in vineyard and winery projects.

To note, Argentinian grapes include Bonarda & Tannat for red wines and Torontes for white wine. The location of which the vineyards are placed, at altitude in the foothills of the Andes and Argentina, provide natural attributes to produce truly world class wine.

A selection of Argentinian white wines to try would be Mauricio Lorca, Susana Balbo and Tapiz.
